News Round Up

Bury striker Andy Bishop is a £400,000 target of Barnsley after their move for Chesterfield's Jamie Ward fell through. Carlisle striker Danny Carlton is expected to agree a loan move to Darlington. Swindon manager Danny Wilson has banned mobile phones from the County Ground. Players will have to leave the stadium if they want to use their phone.

Now Nigel Clough has left Burton, Altrincham boss Graham Heathcote is the longest serving Conference manager - with a whopping three and a half years unbroken service in the top tier of non-league. Salisbury have issued another plea to their fans for funds to continue on their current budget. Their last plea raised £40,000 but didn't stop a series of players leaving the club.

Walsall have released winger Marco Reich and defender Paul Boertien. The pair were on short term deals that the club cannot afford to renew due to falling gates. Mansfield are considering a complaint over Oxford's punishment for fielding an ineligible player. The Stags were docked all four points they had won playing ineligible players in two games, but Oxford were docked only five of the eleven they won while Eddie Hutchison was not registered.

Millwall have agreed a termination with veteran Dave Brammer, who is now expected to join Port Vale. Accrington have jetted off to Spain for a four day training camp. Carlisle have released defender Darren Campion after agreeing a pay-off on his contract. The former Birmingham trainee previously had a trial at Edgar Street before joining the Cumbrians.

Leeds have issued a statement after highly rated starlet Fabien Delph was removed from the squad list on their official site, leading to a flurry of speculation that he had been sold. Leeds blamed a data error for the mishap, and have denied any move has taken place. The owner of Northwich's ground is due in court on winding up proceedings tomorrow. The local paper has spotted a removals van at the ground, and it is unclear whether the club will have access to the stadium for Saturday's match.
