Carlisle boss Greg Abbott has slammed his side's performance in their 2-0 loss against Colchester at the weekend, accusing them of defending like a pub side:
"How can we keep clean sheets when we defend as comically as that? The first goal wouldn't have looked out of place in a pub game on a Sunday, never mind in a League One game on a Saturday afternoon."
Abbott is set to give new winger Lewis Neal his debut, and will demand nothing short of a comfortable win against the Bulls after three games without a win: "Hereford is a game you probably want – a team struggling who haven't won many on their travels. It’s a big one for us now and I'm sure we'll get some criticism if we don't win the game and win it comfortably."
The Cumbrians will be without player-coach Graham Kavanagh through suspension but have experienced strikers Scott Dobie and Michael Bridges available to come back into the team.
