Many Bulls supporters haven't forgotten how the Robins 'stole' several of Hereford's best players back in the late 1990's, particularily after the Bulls were relegated to the Conference.
As well as the relegation, the Bulls had fallen on hard times due in part to efforts by the then board to try and stay in League football.
Graham Turner had no choice but to sell players and who took advantage of the situation - Cheltenham Town.
John Brough (free transfer), Neil Grayson (for just £15,000), Richard Walker (released to help balance the books at Edgar Street) and David Norton (who retired whilst at Hereford only to stage a comeback the following season with Cheltenham) all moved from Edgar Street to Whaddon Road.
What rubbed salt into the wound was that Cheltenham gained promotion at the end of Hereford's second season in the Conference and with those ex-Bulls in their side. Since then until this season the two clubs have not been in the same League.
Whether they will both be in the same League next season remains to be seen.
