Sunshine in Carlisle This Morning

The Met Office reports that the sun has been shining in Carlisle this morning and temperatures are slowly rising above 0C.

The area looks to missed the worst of the wintery weather so far.

Latest predictions from the Met Office show sunny periods and snow showers for today with more snow showers overnight. However it does suggest there will be little, if any, frost tonight.

Tomorrow is expected to be a brighter day with maximum temperatures of about +3C.

Hereford United are due to play at Carlisle tomorrow evening with a 7.45pm kick-off.
