A double from Crewe midfielder Billy Jones gave the Railwaymen all three points in today's League One battle at Gresty Road.
The Bulls should be grateful for only losing 2-1, with Toumani Diagouraga's 78th minute effort only the Bulls second - and last - shot while the hosts managed over twenty. Sam Hewson's dismissal in giving away the penalty opener will cost him two matches on the sidelines starting with Tuesday's match with Bristol Rovers.
The gap to safety is now six points, with the Bulls remaining 23rd.
