The Bulls have a blank midweek this week after a run of seven games in 21 days.
The short break will be welcome to give the players a couple of days rest to get over a collection of minor knocks that have hampered team selection over recent matches.
There are three League One matches on Tuesday night this week, with only one of interest to the Bulls. Northampton travel to Yeovil in a match that will see the gap to survival for the Bulls increase for the Bulls whatever the outcome.
Both the Cobblers and Glovers are nine points clear of the Bulls, with the two sides either side of the relegation line on goal difference. The Cobblers have a vastly superior goal difference to any of the sides in the bottom half of the table.
That game will give the Bulls a game in hand on both those sides, with two games in hand on the four sides on 43 and 44 points.
