Darlington's Adminstrator is to hold talks with the PFA over a proposed wage deferral. The players have been asked to take a 50% deferral while the club's finances are reorganised. Accrington boss John Coleman fears the club will soon be entertaining three figure crowds after their 1,033 mark against Luton was the lowest League gate in seven years.

Grimsby are to lay on ten free coaches to their relegation battle at Chester on March 14th. The Mariners and Chester have the worst two playing records in League Two. Former Welsh Cup foes Connah's Quay are the next club to face an uncertain future. The side was branded after the Gap recruitment agency when they bought the club but the owners now want rid, claiming low attendances and supporter apathy have forced them to spend double what they originally planned.

The propsed investment into Weymouth by Stephen Beer is a donation to the club. The Devon businessman does not want any control of the club whatsoever. Walsall have signed Birmingham forward Robin Shroot on loan for a month. The 20 year old was signed by the Blues in January from Harrow, and debuted in their FA Cup loss to Wolves.

New Brighton boss Russell Slade has brought in Reading goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen and QPR defender Gary Borrowdale on loan. Andersen joins for a month after similar spells at Torquay and Brentford, while Borrowdale joins until the end of the season after a month at Colchester earlier in the season. The Seagulls now have six loan players.
