Preview: Bulls vs Huddersfield

The Bulls take on Huddersfield Town at Edgar Street in a League One match on Saturday.

It was 1980 the last time the Terriers visited Herefordshire for a League game, when they secured a 3-1 win in winning the Division Four title as the Bulls finished in the bottom four on goals scored. Earlier in the season the Bulls lost 2-0 at the Galpharm Stadium in a game that another poor refereeing decision led to John Trewick being invited to leave the dugout.

With the Bulls' second double of the season completed over Carlisle on Tuesday night, they now must get their home form back on track after two goalless outings at Edgar Street. With injuries limiting the available players at the club, the fans hope to see another body or two brought in by Thursday's loan deadline especially with both Febian Brandy and Matt Done being withdrawn after heavy challenges on Tuesday night.

The Terriers revolution under Lee Clark has been something of a damp squib. Since winning three of his first four matches they have won just three more of the following fifteen games, culminating in just four points from the last seven games compared to the Bulls' six points. Somewhere close to £1million was spent on a pair of wingers in January, including ex-Bull Lionel Ainsworth, but they've done little to boost the goalscoring of the side. None of their squad is into double figures for the season, with midfielder Gary Roberts on eight League goals as formerly reliable goalscorers like Andy Booth, Phil Jevons, and Luke Beckett have either left the club or remain on the injured list with just five goals between them from 36 appearances.
