Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope was pleased with his side's 3-0 win at Edgar Street last night. He had particular praise for striker Ricky Lambert who scored a hat-trick.
"Hereford had beaten some decent sides at home and we knew we would have to play to a decent level to win – and we did that," said Trollope as reported by the WDP.
"We defended well and caused them problems going forwards. Rickie had a great night with his goals and his overall contribution.
"We looked a real threat and it was pleasing that we were able to rest a few players near the end with our hectic schedule and give one or two others a chance."
