Big Change for Turner

In his latest article for the Hereford Times, Graham Turner admits that 'sitting in the stand is going to take some getting used to'.

The game at Northampton last Saturday was a big change for the former Hereford United manager as he was able to have a glass of bitter before the game and lunch in the boardroom.

However he admits he kept pretty close to the action.

"I was as interested as everybody else when the teamsheets came around," said Turner.

"I had no idea what side John (Trewick) was going to pick."

And he commented on the result.

"I know John was bitterly disappointed with his opening game, but overall I felt we did well enough to take something out of the game."

Meanwhile BBC Sport has reported that Graham Turner was interested in Colchester defender Pat Baldwin earlier this season.
