Ferrell Leaves Kiddy For York

Former Bull Andy Ferrell has left Kidderminster for York after two years at Aggborough.

The combative midfielder was one of only a handful of players to have a contract with Kiddy for next season, but he is the latest first team regular to depart in the wake of their financial cutbacks. Manager Mark Yates told their official site:

"Fez has been absolutely fantastic for the football club over the last two years. He's always put his head on the line for the cause and he's been a pleasure to work with; and this move is a great one for him as he can now be closer to home. We wish him success for his future career."

Ferrell played 65 times for the Bulls between 2005 and 2007 before angering the management by putting joke signatures on a sponsors match ball. He was farmed out on loan to Kidderminster before being released at the end of the 2007 season.

Meanwhile, claimed Bulls transfer target Craig Hinton has told the givemefootball website that he would like a club within commuting distance of Bristol: "I have spoken to a few clubs but nothing concrete as yet. I would hope that I would have something sorted out by pre-season or worse case scenario for the first game of the season. We live in Bristol so it would be nice to find a club within commuting distance but I am realistic enough know that we will probably have to move if I am going to carry on playing."
