Rose may sign for Swindon

Former Hereford United defender Michael Rose is set to sign for Swindon according to press reports.

However the deal is not yet confirmed as Rose is said to be asking for a pay deal which Swindon might not be able to agree.

Rose has one year left on his contract at Stockport but they are keen to cut costs as they are in administration.

The 26 year old former Manchester United trainee was seen in Hereford last week but it isn't known whether he spoke to anyone at Edgar Street.
