Bulls keeper Adam Bartlett has spoken to the official Kidderminster site following last night's friendly: "It's nice to be back (at Aggborough) and nice to see a few familiar faces. Enjoyed it despite a poor performance, especially first half, from ourselves.
"I don't know what the problem was, the gaffer certainly wasn't happy with the first 45 minutes. We picked it up a touch, especially in the last half hour but as a whole it wasn't a good night for us.
"After the first four games they went really well, but we just took a foot off that gas tonight and that wasn't good enough."
When asked about the Kiddy fans reaction to his return he added: "I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Kidderminster and to come back and get a little ripple and a little ovation was very nice. It shows that when you were at the club you did a relatively good enough job."
He was then asked about the goalkeeper situation at Aggborough: "Kyle (Letheren) has been on trial with us the first two weeks of pre-season. He actually did well with us, I thought he has the potential to play League football."
And on the chances for the Bulls in the coming season: "When you go down from League One you're always expected to do well. I wouldn't say bounce straight back us but we've got expectations in our changing room and that we know we've got a good squad together. One or two yet to come through the doors as well. Come the first game of the season at Morecambe we'll be ready and raring to go, kick on, and get ourselves back into League One."
