Chester Crisis Goes To Court

Chester's ongoing inability to play matches shows no sign of lifting with the taxman meeting Administrators Refresh Recovery in court.

The move can be reasonably assumed to be a challenge to the way the company in Administration arranged a CVA that would see the taxman get just 15% of it's dues. The vast majority of the debts were owed to Stephen Vaughan and other family companies, and he demanded payment in full of these debts from any other bidder other than his own family.

The Monday meeting in court comes as a surprise after various Chester figures claimed the problem with the FA was merely over submitting the right paperwork however, as is usual thesedays at the Deva, it is more complicated than the club would admit.
