Gulacsi - Better Keeper after Spell at Hereford

Liverpool keeper coach Xavi Valero has said that Peter Gulacsi is a better player for going on loan to Hereford last season.

"He needed to go on loan last season because of the stage he was at," Valero told liverpoolfc.tv.

"Peter went to Hereford for three months and though they were relegated he got some really good experience - he was busy in all the games and had to deal with situations he wouldn't encounter in the reserves.

"He is much more mature now even though he is just 19. We are really pleased.

"It is another step in his progression towards the first team."
