Former Hereford United right-back Richard Jackson is currently training with League Two new boys Burton Albion. Jackson, who was released at the end of last season after a dissapointing stint with The Bulls was rumoured to be on trial at Shrewsbury and was attracting interest from Hartlepool. He could follow another former Bulls' defender, in Tony James, at the Pirelli Stadium.
Manager Paul Peschisolido commented on Jackson to the Burton Mail, "Richard’s local and I’ve said to him he can train with us and use our physio to try to get himself fit.
"At the moment, all he is doing is working his way back after a bit of an injury, but we’ll see if we can take it any further."
Meanwhile Charlton have told Exeter they will have to increase their bid for Stuart Fleetwood. The Grecians are believed to have offered £50,000 for the striker, with Addicks boss Phil Parkinson saying they would be 'giving him away' at that price.
And another ex-Bull is trialling for a new club. Jose Veiga played for Macclesfield on Saturday, and already has an offer on the table from Harrogate Town.
