Although central defender Darren Dennehy has not been given a number at Cardiff City he will wear the number 17 shirt for Hereford United.
The 20-year-old, signed from Everton, is still a Cardiff player, but will be on loan with the Bulls until at least January. He has missed some training recently as he has had a toe-nail removed but is expected to be fully fit for the start of the season.
Republic of Ireland Under-21 international Dennehy has rejoined the Bulls after his loan spell from Cardiff last season was cut short when he contracted glandular fever while on international duty.
Hereford manager John Trewick reached a new agreement with Cardiff for Dennehy to return for six months.
