Trewick looks forward to City Visit

Hereford United manager John Trewick has told the Worcester News that he is looking forward to the visit of Bristol City to Edgar Street tomorrow evening. Last Thursday the Bulls won their first friendly at Pegasus.

“It was nice to get a good win against opposition after six days of training and everybody got a part of the game. It was a useful exercise," said Trewick pictured at the Pegasus game.

“I wasn’t looking for anything out of the ordinary, it was just a case of getting 45 minutes in and developing what we have already done in training.

“We have got an opportunity to carry that on against Bristol City.

“They are a good Championship side and I believe Gary Johnson is bringing his full squad across so it will be a good test for us.

“I will be expecting a similar performance.

“What I don’t want is a defeat if I can help it, I just want a big solid display.”

Bristol City are expected to be without former Bull Gavin Williams who picked up a knock during their recent visit to Portugal. Manager Gary Johnson may also leave out several other first choice players in advance of their friendly against Ajax on Wednesday.
