Former Hereford United player Andy Williams is expected to be in the Bristol Rovers squad that visits Edgar Street tomorrow evening.
Williams spent part of last season on loan with Hereford but failed to find the goal regularily and returned to the Memorial Stadium at the end of the season. Speculation that he might return to Edgar Street on a season long loan appears to be highly unlikely.
Although along with Sean Rigg and Lewis Haldane, Williams is available for a move away from Rovers, there has been little interest in either of them.
"We have had a few enquiries but all three players have got their heads down, worked hard and are making sure they do the right things for themselves," said manager Paul Trollope.
Meanwhile Trollope has brought in Dominic Blizzard from Watford but his new signing has been suffering from a flu and a chest infection.
It's uncertain whether Blizzard will be fit enough to play some part in tomorrow's friendly.
Hereford United manager John Trewick has some decisions to make about several trialists. How many who played a part in the friendly against Wolves on Saturday will still be at Edgar Street for tomorrow's game remains to be seen.
Trewick is reported to have said that there are a couple of fresh trialists coming in this week. He will also be hopeful that Darren Jones, Darren Dennehy and Glen Southam will be back in training this week and available by next Saturday for the final pre-season friendly against Walsall.
