The Bulls lost 1-0 to Walsall in the final friendly today at Edgar Street.
A rain-sodden pitch didn't help the Bulls' passing, while the weather also kept the crowd down to 590. There was a new trialist in the shape of winger 'Emrick De Vries' while reported Newcastle loanee Jonny Godsmark, listed on the team sheet as Godsley, started the game. There was no sign of either Marc Manga nor Nigerian Benedict Akwuegbu.
DeVries is believed to be Emmerik DeVriese, a 24 year old from Royal Antwerp. A YouTube video of him in action can be seen here. He has recently been on trial with Blackpool.
