Results Round Up

Notts County's apparently unstoppable march to the title continued without new signing Kasper Schmeichel but they still managed a clean sheet in a 4-0 win at Macclesfield. Bournemouth, 1-0 winners over Rotherham, and Dagenham, 5-3 winners over Torquay, also have 100% records. Shrewsbury's 2-2 draw at Barnet puts them on four points with Cheltenham and Rochdale, who beat Aldershot 1-0 thanks to a penalty in the fourth minute of injury time but spent the bulk of the game with ten men.

Crewe are one of nine sides on three points after beating Grimsby 4-0. Accrington beat Lincoln, who had six booked, 1-0, while Chesterfield beat goalless Northampton 1-0. Bradford earned their first point with a goalless home draw with Port Vale, while Burton avenged two heavy defeats by beating Morecambe 5-2. Bury's 1-0 win at Darlington leaves the Quakers and Mariners as the only pointless sides.

In the Conference Chester kicked off 26 points short of safety and were thumped 4-2 at home by Cambridge. At the top of the table likely suspects Luton and Oxford are seperated by less fancied Altrincham, who beat Hayes and Yeading 2-1. Kidderminster had a goalless draw at Ebbsfleet, while Forest Green lost 2-0 at York.
