Results Round Up

Dagenham and Bournemouth lead the table with maximum points after the Dagger hammered Shrewsbury 5-0, with Paul Benson scoring four, and the Cherries won 1-0 at home to Aldershot. Cheltenham are third on seven points after a Banana Alsop late effort gave them a 1-0 win over Rochdale. Notts County can go top with a win over Chesterfield on Wednesday night, but are currently one of six sides on six points. Crewe head that pile after a 1-0 win at Darlington, with Torquay and Lincoln winning 2-0 away at Burton and Bradford respectively. Rotherham won 2-1 at bottom side Grimsby.

At the bottom of the early table, with the Mariners, are Darlington with the two sides pointless. Morecambe lost 2-0 at Barnet to leave them with the only point coming from the opening day against the Bulls, and Port Vale's 2-0 loss at Macclesfield keeps up their poor start to the season. Northampton picked up their first win, and goals, in beating Accrington 3-0.

In the Conference Chester's season goes from bad to worse with their second four goal pummelling in a week, this time without reply in a 4-0 loss at leaders Oxford. Altrincham continue their unlikely march towards early safety with a 2-1 win over Histon to keep them second. Kidderminster's goalscoring problems continue as they lose 1-0 at home to Kettering, while Luton win 1-0 at Forest Green.
