The Bulls beat Bristol Rovers on penalties in tonight's Johnstones' Paint Trophy after a goalless 90 minutes.
The blank scoreline was down largely to a misfiring Pirates' front line, who flustered chance after chance although a string of last-ditch tackles and fine saves also helped to deny them. In the end a pair of Adam Bartlett penalty saves seperated the two sides to put the Bulls into the second round for the first time in four years.
