Pipe Surprised By Bulls Start

Bristol Rovers' midfielder David Pipe is surprised by the Bulls' poor start to the season:

Speaking to their official site, he said: "I'm surprised at the position Hereford find themselves in at the moment. I know a few lads who play for them, including Ryan Green, and I'm sure they will climb the table sooner rather than later.

"I had a chat with Ryan a few days ago and expect him to be playing tonight so we'll look forward to seeing him again, though he'll probably be kicking lumps out of whoever is playing left side of midfield!

"I have good memories of Edgar Street, having played there quite a few times with different teams. I also remember playing there for Rovers last season very well as, Walsall apart, it was probably one of our best away performances of the season."

The Pirates are favourites for tonight's game with the bookies at 6/5. The Bulls are 12/5 with the draw 5/2. For qualification from the tie at any stage the Pirates are 8/15, with the Bulls 11/8.

The Pirates are still hoping to have a new keeper in their ranks for tonight's match. Rhys Evans is their only available goalkeeper after Newcastle keeper Fraser Forster left his loan at the Memorial Ground for Norwich with the Canaries offering the cash strapped Magpies more of his wages than the Pirates were willing to offer.
