Todd Quits Darlington

Colin Todd has resigned as manager of bottom club Darlington after just two points from their first nine games.

They drew today's game against Grimsby, their first win in three games, and recorded their only win in the Johnstones Paint Trophy. He is the fourth League Two manager to depart this season, following Stuart Gray (Northampton), Peter Jackson (Lincoln), and Mark Robins (Rotherham) out of their jobs.

Update: Todd has issued a statement denying that he resigned, and that the decision to relieve him of his duties was entirely that of Chairman Raj Singh.
