The current transfer window shuts at 5pm prompt this afternoon.
Whether manager John Trewick brings anyone in remains to be seen but in his latest interview with BBC Hereford and Worcester he wasn't hopeful.
"On a permanent basis I think it's unlikely," said the Hereford United manager.
"The loan signings are the more obvious route that we might go down."
Should he have any fresh faces, there will be an opportunity to give them a game this evening in the Paint Trophy tie against Bristol Rovers.
Meanwhile Jonny Godsmark is a doubt with an injury to his wrist which occured early in the game against Port Vale last Saturday.
Admission for the game is: Adults £10, Concessions £5, Kids accompanied by a 'full-price' Adult may gain entry for £1 if the tickets are pre-purchased according to Bristol Rovers. However, as at early this morning, this has not been confirmed by Hereford United.
