Bulls Toil To Three Points

The Bulls made hard work in securing three points against Darlington in this afternoon's League Two match, winning 2-1.

Goals from Keith Lowe and Darren Jones either side of half time left the Bulls forward line sensing blood, and the two strikers and two wingers were all guilty of going for goal themselves rather than seeking the easier pass to increase the lead. Their wastefulness led to a cagey final 20 minutes after James Collins slotted the ball home to give the visitors hope.

But the bulk of the 2,238 crowd, with 98 from Darlington, went home happy thanks largely to some quality saves from Adam Bartlett to preserve the scoreline.
