Alan Connell scored the opener as Bournemouth beat Grimsby. Steve Guinan scored the opener as Northampton beat Morecambe.

David Brown opened the scoring for Forest Green from the penalty spot as they beat Mangotsfield in the FA Cup. Both Chris Mackenzie and Chukki Eribenne are also in the First Round after their Hinckley side beat Histon. Moses Ashikodi scored a late equaliser to keep Kettering in the competition as they drew with Redditch.

Meanwhile three ex-Bulls who joined new clubs this week all saw their sides lose. Glen Southam scored for Bishop's Stortford but they lost at Lewes, Richard Jackson failed to make the team as Darlington lost to Barnet, and Clint Easton started the game as Ebbsfleet lost 3-0 at Bromley in the FA Cup.
