Reports in the North Wales/Deeside area are suggesting that former Hereford player Jimmy Harvey is to join Chester as Manager until the end of season.
Whilst nothing is, as yet, confirmed on the official Jester site, the story is being reported by local radio. The job has the reputation of being one of short tenancy with Harvey’s name joining a very long list in recent years that includes several entries from Mark Wright.
The rumour includes the appointment of Tim Ryan as Assistant.
UPDATE 1pm: Both names confirmed by Chester Chronicle
"Obviously, it will be a difficult job with the points deduction. We’re going to have to put in some tremendous performances and get some excellent results to avoid relegation," said Harvey.
"But that's the job and I'm going to get on with it."
