Hereford not a Glamorous Tie says Sutton Manager

Sutton United manager Paul Doswell has said that the FA Cup against Hereford United isn't the most glamorous tie but does give his side a chance of causing an upset.

“You start off dreaming of a League One side like Leeds United when they make the draw, so I have to say I was initially disappointed,” he told the Richmond Times.

“But when you look at the detail of it we have half a chance. I couldn’t have said that if we’d drawn Southampton or Charlton Athletic.

“It will be a great day out for everyone and a good team bonding session for the players and officials.

“It wouldn’t be the biggest shock of all time if we won. We probably need a good day and they’ll need be a bit off colour, but we are in with a shot.

“We have won our last four away games and our support on the road is first class. We’ll be going to Hereford to give it a real go.”
