Bulls midfielder James McQuilkin appears to be next out of the door after Mansfield confirmed he is to play for them in the reserves.
The Stags play Notts County today in a practice match with McQuilkin expected to feature alongside one-time Bulls trialist Richard Langley. McQuilkin impressed many in pre-season but, like the departed Glen Southam, suffered injury and has been unable to force his way back into the first team picture.
The 20 year old would only be able to join the Stags on loan initially.
Stags boss David Holdsworth told the Nottingham Evening Post: "Hereford have made a lot of changes and James may be deemed surplus to requirements there, but I have had my eye on the kid and he has a good pedigree."
