Cheltenham have signed West Ham defender Hólmar Eyjólfsson on loan for a month after losing Shane Duff to injury. They have also extended the loan of Spurs youngster Sam Cox for two more weeks, but have released non-contract player Jordan Tabor and returned Frankie Artus to Bristol City due to injury. Darlington want a manager that is 'young, hungry, and with a knowledge of the lower leagues'.

Notts County have denied they were late with payments to players, after a PFA spokesman confirmed to The Times that they were asked to intervene after players failed to receive bonus payments with their monthly wage packets. All payments due have now been received. Chesterfield have signed Colchester midfielder David Perkins on a months loan.

Lincoln chairman Steff Wright has denied that new manager Chris Sutton has invested £250,000 into the club, calling the claim 'absolutely absurd'.
