Walker expected to start for Southend

James Walker, who returned to Southend earlier this week after a month long loan spell with Hereford United, is expected to start for his club in their League One game against Gillingham this evening.

He will take the place of Dougie Freedman who is carrying an injury.

Cash strapped Southend are very short of players at present.
