The Bulls are into the Second Round of the FA Cup after a 2-0 win over Sutton United at Edgar Street today.
The match seemed something of a formality when Mathieu Manset scrambled the ball home for an early lead, but referee Stephen Rushton had other ideas. He sent Manset off for retailiation, a Beckham-esque flick of the boot on a Sutton player after he had been trod on, and then proceeded to dish out a series of bizarre decisions that left both sides furious at his antics.
Ryan Valentine eventually settled the game with a late penalty, the second of two clear handballs by Sutton players, to send the bulk of the 1,713 crowd - with 205 from Sutton - home happy.
