Managers Thoughts from Burton

Here are a few of the quotes from both managers following the game at Burton.

Paul Peschisolido for Burton:

"I thought we were good today, defensively we could have blown it at the end.

"For the majority of the game, the whole team performance and the lads' never say die attitude was superb.

"We had goals from set pieces as well so we had it all today."

A very disappointed John Trewick for Hereford who after the interview was off to see the referee.

"We shouldn't have lost the game. I'm very annoyed we have. Some absolutely shocking defending has cost us. The referee, once again, has cost us," Trewick told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

Burton were given a penalty after a hand-ball by Leon Constantine but Trewick was far from convinced.

"I don't know how he can put that as a deliberate hand-ball. I'm going to see him in a minute.

"We were the better side in the second half. We took the game to them, created the best opportunities, passed the ball better than them and we lost.

"We conceded three in 45 minutes - that's not going to get you anywhere. We scored two goals away from home - we should be going back with three points.

"For the first goal we defended very very badly. We allowed a situation to develope that should not happen and all that's down to is concentration.

"The second goal, how he can say it's a deliberate hand-ball I don't know. Sometimes the game is cruel. It's supposed to be hand to ball. Where was his hand? Above his head? I didn't see it.

"My first impression was that it's a very very harsh penalty."
