Cheltenham have signed West Brom midfielder Joss Labadie on a months loan. The youngster recently ended a spell at Shrewsbury due to 'attitude problems'. Bradford have nicked Norwich winger Simon Whaley from Rochdale, where he had just spent two months on loan. Whaley has signed a one month loan at Valley Parade.

Darlington have told four players they can leave the club. The Quakers have not named the four, but local reports suggest they are David Knight, Paul Arnison, Matt Plummer, and Mark Convery who were all left out of last week's match squad despite being fit. Rochdale have signed Rotherham midfielder Jason Taylor on a months loan.

FA Cup opponents Colchester have loaned defender Pat Baldwin to Bristol Rovers until January. Their former player of the year is deemed surplus to requirements despite only signing a new three year deal in the summer. Shrewsbury have signed Spurs keeper David Button on a six week loan. He was last at Crewe but was sent back by Dario Gradi as not being up to the job and replaced by Steve Phillips, who he now replaces at the Prostar.

Torquay have loaned striker Ben Joyce to Forest Green until January. Matt Clarke's Halesowen are set to come out of Administration after a sucessful bid for the club from brothers Godfrey and Graham Ingram. Godfrey is a former footballer, who spent ten years in America playing in their indoor league.
