Torquay have signed Spurs defender Matt Smith and Wycombe striker Chris Zebroski on loan. Smith had a previous loan at Wycombe this term while Zebroski, a former Bulls trialist, spent the 07/08 season at Plainmoor where he scored 19 times. Port Vale lost £280,000 last season, despite cutting £600,000 from their playing budget. The budget was cut to £1.12million, but it only saw lossed cut by £100,000 from the previous season. They report total debts of over £3.5million.
Morecambe are cashing in on their move to a new stadium. They will produce a souvenir programme at their last home game costing £8, and then sell off the turf in 3ft strips from £3.50.
