Dagenham have signed Chesterfield's veteran winger Darren Currie on loan with a view to a permanent January transfer. The 34 year old will sign an 18 month deal in January if his impresses boss John Still, who had him as a player at Barnet eight years ago. Southend chairman Ron Martin has accused the taxman of trying to damage the club when it demanded £2.1million in unpaid taxes to be paid.

Lincoln have been refused permission to sign Derry City player James McClean as the Irish FA have refused to sanction the move despite Derry having been thrown out of the League and the squad not having been paid for three months. Chester fan Charlie Lambert, of 5live, has written an open letter to the FA asking for them to investigate the transfer of the club from Stephen Vaughan to his son.

Former Bull Simon Osborn has quit playing at the age of 37. He made one sub appearance for the Bulls, turning down a contract to return to the London area. His last appearances were for Cray Wanderers in the Ryman Premier. Lincoln have extended the loans of Aston Villa pair Eric Lihaj and Nathan Baker until January.

Rochdale have loaned winger Adam Rundle to Rotherham for a month, with a view to a permanent summer move.
