The Bulls entertain A49 rivals Shrewsbury on Tuesday night in League Two action.
The Bulls recorded their first League double over the Shrews the last season the two sides met. In 07/08, with the Bulls unlikely promotion material and the Shrews again falling short despite their massive resources, the Bulls claimed all six points with a 2-1 win at the Prostar following up a 3-1 win at Edgar Street. Those two wins doubled the total wins from League games against the Shrews in 16 attempts.
The Bulls will look to stretch their unbeaten home record into double figures tomorrow night. In all competitions they have nine matches unbeaten including top three sides Dagenham and Bournemouth failing to extract three points from their visits to Edgar Street. With Mathieu Manset back in contention and a reborn Leon Constantine being joined by the lively Gavin McCallum it will be anyone's guess who will start up top. One thing is likely, the Bulls will probably revent to play wingers with Marc Pugh - six goals in 12 League appearances this term - particularly keen to play against his former employers.
Shrewsbury come into the game on the back of three straight 1-1 draws, and just one win in seven League games including a loss to bottom side Darlington. Their summer striker arrivals have been told to go after disappointing this season, while their keeper problems mirror the Bulls from last season with David Button becoming the fifth keeper to be named in a matchday squad already this term. Top scorer Dave Hibbert has eight goals, but he has been paired with a string of misfiring partners to put another promotion attempt in jeopardy.
