Hans Backe is reported by Sky Sports to have quit Notts County.
The friend of Sven Goran Eriksson had just nine games in charge, but now appears to have quit the club just six weeks into a three year contract. The departure of one of Eriksson's long standing friends is likely to signal the end of Sven's stay at Meadow Lane.
Backe won only two of seven League games during his brief stay, but has taken the club into the FA Cup Third Round. The club have confirmed the departure, with Dave Kevan taking caretaker charge of the club.
Their next match is on Monday night, against Bournemouth, live on Sky Sports.
