The Administrators report into Chester, the bankrupt company left behind when the club restarted itself in the summer, says the Administrators have filed a report with the Director's Disqualification Unit about the conduct of the club's directors prior to the Administration. Among those directors at the time was the claimed current owner Stephen Vaughan Junior.
Notts County's former vice chairman John Mounteney has expressed concern about Munto Finance putting the club up for sale. Mounteney was 10% shareholder of the club, and is unhappy that Munto are looking to profit from the deal so soon after he handed his shares over free of charge. Supporters Direct have also told the press they were against the summer transfer of shares as the deal cut the Supporters Trust out of the picture entirely.
Four Marine players have been banned for betting on matches they were involved in. The four - Lee Parle, Adam Farley, Paul Woolcott and Freddie Potter - placed bets between £20 and £300 on two fixtures in March 2008 and April 2009. They have received bans of between five and nine months, and fines of up to £250. Woolcott, who admitted the charges straight away, had most of his ban and fine suspended.
Bournemouth have been allowed to sign West Ham goalkeeper Marek Stech on emergency loan after an injury to Shwan Jalal was compounded by a back problem for deputy Dan Thomas. 19 year old Stech is a Czech youth international who played twice for Wycombe on loan last season. Barnet have loaned reserve striker Elliott Charles to Conf South side Havant and Waterlooville for a month.
