Rochdale open up a four point lead at the top of the table after they won 3-1 at Lincoln, with Bournemouth being smashed 5-0 by Morecambe. The Shrimps have now won their last seven, and have gone five games without conceding a goal, to move into a play-off spot after a disasterous start. Rotherham hold third with a 4-2 win at Bradford, with Dagenham keeping pace after a 3-1 home win over Bury. Chesterfield are up to fifth with a 1-0 win over Cheltenham, after Notts County's new (new) era started with a 2-1 home loss to Accrington. Aldershot dropped out of the play-offs after losing 6-1 at Burton with Greg Pearson scoring a hat-trick.
Down the bottom Darlington lost 5-0 at Torquay to stay 11 points short, while the Gulls move up to 22 points and six points clear of Grimsby. The Mariners drew 0-0 at Shrewsbury, while Northampton drew 1-1 with Port Vale. Barnet lost 2-1 at Crewe to slip into the bottom half, with the Bees eight games without a win.
