Sonko and Blachett to miss out

Edrissa Sonko and Danny Blanchett are not expected to be fit for this evening's match against Lincoln City assuming it goes ahead.

Ryan Green is also a doubt but Richard Rose is said to be in with a chance of playing after his illness.

Manager John Trewick is looking forward to the game.

“Traditionally over the years, crowds are down on the Saturday before Christmas and, with the credit crunch situation, it’s difficult enough," Trewick told the Worcester News.

“I always like a match under the light. I think it does add to the atmosphere but it’s a double-edged sword because we played on Tuesday and the game is coming 19 hours sooner so we have not got quite as much time to recover and prepare.”
