Tony Bates from Staffordshire is set to take charge of Saturday's League Two match between Bury and Hereford United.
The Bulls have already met Bates this season. He refereed the first home match which was against Charlton in the Carling Cup.
On the night Jonny Godsmark scored the only goal of the game to give the Bulls an unexpected victory. No Hereford United player was booked by Bates that evening.
In fact Bates must look kindly on the Bulls as no player has gone into his notebook in any of the last four games he has refereed.
To date this season he has officiated 19 games in which he has given out 52 yellow cards and just one red card.
