Danny Blanchett, who recently completed a loan spell at Hereford United, has said he's looking forward to working with Wimbledon manager Terry Brown.
"Terry Brown was quite persistent in getting me down here and I am really looking forward to it," Blanchett told the local Guardian.
"He told me he had been tracking me for some time and that made a big impression on me.
"I am a left-back by trade, although in my last loan deal at Hereford they were playing me as a centre-back.
"I have only had a couple of training sessions here but early signs are good - the standard is very high and they are a great bunch of lads.
"With me being out of contract at Peterborough at the end of the season I’m looking for my next move - and Wimbledon seems a really good fit for me.
"My aim is to get back into league football as soon as I can, and with AFC Wimbledon I think I have a great chance to do that."
