Readers of this site may recall that last week we mentioned an article from the Hereford Times in which Sports Editor Richard Prime gave his choice for the Hereford United team of the decade.
Over the past week Prime has received teams submitted by supporters and whilst many were very similar to that of Primes, there were a few differences.
Supporters favoured Tamika Mkandawire over Ian Wright, Micheal Rose above Rob Purdie, and Toumani Diagouraga over Jamie Pitman.
Paul Parry, pictured whilst at Edgar Street, was the most popular choice.
As a reminder, the Hereford Times team was: 4-4-2, Brown; Green, James, Wright, Purdie; Ainsworth, Pitman, Smith, Parry; Guinan, Gavin Williams. Subs: Baker, Richard Rose, Mkandawire, Diagouraga, McIndoe, Ipoua, Andy Williams.
The amalgamated team from all the submitted selections is: 4-4-2, Brown; Green, Mkandawire, James, Michael Rose; Ainsworth, Smith, Diagouraga, Parry; Guinan, Gavin Williams. Subs: Baker, Purdie, Pitman, Wright, Ipoua, McIndoe, Stansfield.
