Crowds down by 9% in League Two

League Two crowds to date this season are down by 9% according to the Mike Avery Site. His stats show that Hereford United's crowds are down by 24%.

At least the drop at Edgar Street isn't the biggest in League Two. That 'honour' goes to Darlington where attendances are down 31%.

Biggest increase is at Notts County where gates are averaging 7222 - some 62% better than last season. They were showing an 80% increase at one stage, but recent attendances have fallen close to last season's numbers.

Top gate is at Bradford City with an average of 11429. That's 10% down on last season.

As regards the Bulls - last season the average gate was 3270, this season, to date, is 2486.

That's the lowest figure since the 2002/03 season.
