Results Round Up

With Rochdale facing Bury on Sky on Monday night, Bournemouth closed the gap to top spot to seven points with a 2-1 win at Crewe, while Rotherham's game at home to Macclesfield was one of three to be called off. Notts County closed the gap to the automatic promotion spots to two points with a 2-0 win over sliding Barnet, with the Bees now recording just five points from 39 since beating bottom club Darlington in October. Shrewsbury retain a play-off spot despite losing 1-0 at home to Accrington, who are three points shy of the top seven themselves. That gap remains after Chesterfield beat Morecambe 1-0 to retain seventh.

Down the bottom Darlington's match with Cheltenham, and Lincoln's home game with Dagenham were both postponed. Grimsby earned a valuable point with a 1-1 draw at Aldershot, and they close the gap to the Bulls to six points having played two games more. Bradford won 2-1 at Torquay to halt their desperate slide and retain 16th place, while Northampton and Burton drew 1-1 in the other game today.

In the Conference Luton had a spanner thrown in their play-off plans with a 3-2 home loss to Ebbsfleet. Mansfield beat Forest Green 4-1, with most of the main promotion candidates in FA Trophy action.
