Bookies will not be taking bets on this weekend's game between Chester and Ebbsfleet.
Not one bookmaker is offering odds on the match, with current manager Morrell Maison saying he has only nine professional players at his disposal. He told BBC Radio: "The team virtually picks itself, it's the nine players we have plus the best of the academy kids. It's not an ideal situation and we're not going to win many games with that set-up. So we need to solve our problems fairly rapidly if we're going to have a chance [of staying up].
"We need to pay off our football debts, which include three clubs and our players, which is somewhere around £37,000 in total. Once those debts are paid, we're allowed to bring players in."
Youngsters James Owen and Rhys Meynell are reported to be interesting Wrexham and Kidderminster respectively, with all the contracted players free to leave for other clubs due to unpaid wages even though the transfer window is officially closed.
