Results Round Up

Rochdale stretched their lead at the top to six points with a 2-0 win over Crewe, while second placed Bournemouth could only claim a goalless draw with lowly Cheltenham. Bury retained third with a 1-0 win at Bradford, while Shrewsbury beat Macclesfield by the same score to maintain their play-off place. Accrington beat Morecambe 3-2 to move within three points of the play-offs, overtaking Aldershot who were comprehensively beaten by Barnet 3-0.

At the bottom Darlington claimed their first double of the season in beating Rotherham 2-0, but they are still 12 points short of safety. Grimsby lost 1-0 at home to Notts County to stay on 20 points, while Lincoln maintained their poor position with a 2-1 loss at Chesterfield. In the other game Burton beat Port Vale 1-0, and Northampton beat Dagenham by the same score.

In the Conference a cricket score was not recorded at Chester, who only lost 2-1 to Ebbsfleet in front of just 460 fans. At the top Oxford had a goalless draw with Kidderminster, while Stevenage lost 1-0 to Tamworth meaning York move within a point of the top two with a 1-0 win over Kettering.
